What a blast we had last Thursday. There were 9 of us that made the craft, and what a good time it was. The food was plentiful, as was the conversation.
We had some great ideas about upcoming MNO's and guest speakers. Right now we are looking for someone that can get us a pool, and hopefully a hot tub. We want to have a Pool Party BBQ for ADULTS ONLY! Doesn't that sound fun!? Could you actually imagine sitting in that nice warm water without anyone splashing you in the face? Or floating around the pool drinking a lemonade and NOT worrying if one of your little ones will fall into the deep end. So, if you have any ideas on where we could have this "Pool Party" please let me know. We would like it to be private, not a public pool so we can enjoy grown up time without kids. So for July-Pool Party and for August we are gonna float the river! Melissa Wright's dad owns a tire store so the tubes will be provided for free. We will probably meet and eat first then get on the river. September will be an Awesome opportunity for us to bring our hubbies or boyfriends (just not both :) and have a Volleyball or Soccer hangout Dinner BBQ thingy. We are working on having childcare on site on a donation only basis...more to come soon on that.
