Lets start a tradition of supporting our MOPS Mom’s group during the Holiday Season. We are going to have a Fall Holiday Bazaar on Thursday November 18th at the Tuscany Subdivision Clubhouse (Eagle/Locust Grove) from 12-9. It will be “open house” style so moms can drop by all day long. This is a great opportunity to promote your business for FREE!!! All Mom’s that are registered (and paid) with our group can have a booth to represent their business (and or their husbands business) We are limiting to 1 of each specific brand so hurry and reserve your spot ASAP! This means we will only have 1 Pampered Chef consultant, 1 Scentsy...etc. But there can be more than 1 booth in the same category, ex: 1 Creative Memories and 1 Close 2 My Heart...see the distinction? OK, so I will take reservations for a booth until November 8th, at that point if you have any friends or know someone that would be interested in setting up a booth at our event we will open it up to “outside” (NOT MOPS Mom’s) businesses for $20 per booth. If we get an overwhelming number of you that are interested we may have to limit the number of “outsiders” we have, so that too will be on a first come first serve basis. We will be announcing this at the next meeting and you can invite anyone you know, the buying portion of our sale is open to EVERYONE!!! So spread the word. The more people that know the better success we will have supporting our Mom’s.

Here is our updated vendor list:
Arbon

Hope for Chernobyl (NPO)
Vizions Real Estate
Mary Kay Cosmetics
SIB Systems Internet Marketing & Web Design
TaiSlim/Free Life

Mom's Night Out...Recipe Card Box Success

What a blast we had last Thursday. There were 9 of us that made the craft, and what a good time it was. The food was plentiful, as was the conversation. We had some great ideas about upcoming MNO's and guest speakers. Right now we are looking for someone that can get us a pool, and hopefully a hot tub. We want to have a Pool Party BBQ for ADULTS ONLY! Doesn't that sound fun!? Could you actually imagine sitting in that nice warm water without anyone splashing you in the face? Or floating around the pool drinking a lemonade and NOT worrying if one of your little ones will fall into the deep end. So, if you have any ideas on where we could have this "Pool Party" please let me know. We would like it to be private, not a public pool so we can enjoy grown up time without kids. So for July-Pool Party and for August we are gonna float the river! Melissa Wright's dad owns a tire store so the tubes will be provided for free. We will probably meet and eat first then get on the river. September will be an Awesome opportunity for us to bring our hubbies or boyfriends (just not both :) and have a Volleyball or Soccer hangout Dinner BBQ thingy. We are working on having childcare on site on a donation only basis...more to come soon on that.

Mom's Night Out...Gab & Grab

Friday May 21st marked our first bi-annual Mom's Night Out Gab & Grab. I would have to call it a success. We had 11 moms and lots of yummy food. If you don't know what this event was all about I will break it down for ya. Each of us brought gently used clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry...(anything another mom could use) and we swapped them for FREE. It was so much fun. We took turns shopping based on the "value" of what you brought so those who brought more got to shop first. We will be planning another Gab & Grab for the fall so stay tuned for more details. Our next MNO (Mom's Night Out) is scheduled for Thursday June 17th and we will be making Recipe Card Boxes...more to follow
